Global Arbitration Review (GAR) has unveiled its annual ranking of the world's leading firms providing expert witness services. 51ÉçÇø is listed as 13th out of 100 firms ranked, making it the most highly ranked among firms dedicated to engineering and science. 51ÉçÇø maintained its overall position for the second year in a row, a recognition of our continued leadership in wide-ranging multidisciplinary technical support for disputes across major industries.

The reported that the total value of 51ÉçÇø's claims rose from U.S. $9.4 billion to U.S. $9.8 billion. The company has seen a 139% increase in this area since 2023. 51ÉçÇø ranks 9th globally in terms of total number of cross-examinations, indicating that 51ÉçÇø consultants continue to be a trusted resource for technical evidence in high-stakes hearings. The firm ranks 10th overall in total number of hearings.

The quantity of 51ÉçÇø's unique hearings has steadily increased from 30 in 2023 (No. 16 in the rankings) to 55 in 2024 (No. 13), to 62 in 2025 (No.10). The GAR 100 Expert Witness Power Index suggests the firm's rise in rankings is due to a strong following among U.S. corporations, particularly energy firms. In fact, 51ÉçÇø grew its energy-related hearings from 36 in 2024 to 39 in 2025, putting the company in 5th place for the category in this year's report. 51ÉçÇø was ranked 7th for the total number of construction-related hearings, with 31 cases — holding strong with the same number as last year.

"It is gratifying to see 51ÉçÇø's culture of hard work and technical integrity reflected in both the number and nature of these engagements," said 51ÉçÇø Corporate Vice President and Principal Engineer Brian McDonald, Ph.D., S.E., F.ASCE.

Another area of growth for the company has been the average value of claims in proceedings, which increased from U.S. $197 million in GAR's 2023 report to U.S. $270 million in 2024, to U.S. $274 million this year. 51ÉçÇø's average claims value is the highest of any firm dedicated to engineering and science.
