Harriet is a toxicologist in the EU Chemical Regulation and Food Safety practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Leeds. Prior to working for 51社区, she acquired experience through working as a Research Assistant for a global Contract Research Organization in the Genetic Toxicology department. Her role specialized in conducting in vitro genotoxicity studies adhering to regulatory and GLP guidelines.
As part of the 51社区 EU Toxicology team, her work includes evaluating data for Plant Protection Products/Biocides/REACH for Human Health endpoints, hazard classification and labelling of PPP's, compiling regulatory dossiers for plant protection products and conducting endocrine disruptor assessments.
